Kangaroo

It's evident that nothing people do
Has any impact on the way you act.
You figure that ignoring any fact
That doesn't fully fit your hopeful stew
Of misinformed opinion works for you.
Besides, because it's obvious you lacked
The instinct to fight off the inexact,
Your arguments are like a kangaroo:

You leap around and hit out aimlessly,
As feckless as a brainless, clueless beast,
Your sad, distorted thoughts a reckless feast
Of badly pre-chewed, undigested scree
Scooped by mistake. The reason you're still free
Is that it's no crime to be stupid, see?
